And with the SNW musical episode dropping this week it seems like the perfect moment to reflect on the musical talent that has gone before, and whether this should have already happened a long time ago. I searched the subreddit and didn't find any other posts with a large overview like this, so I thought I'd pass my bookmarks on to the community so I don't feel like I've entirely wasted all this time. There are also Star Trek stars who just happen to be good or great musicians - and yes, there are also some questionable vanity albums (though really not much beyond Shatner & Nimoy). There's actually been a pretty robust musical theatre-to-Star Trek pipeline since the Berman era that continues to this day.
